Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLP - A)

Do you love working with children and are willing to understand and help them improve their communication skills? Do you have experience with various speech and language disorders and interventions? If so, you might be the ideal candidate for our team at Legacy Speech Services!  We seek a qualified Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLP-A) to join our growing practice. You will be responsible for providing speech therapy services to pediatric patients under the clinical supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). You will work closely with patients, families, and other interdisciplinary team members to implement individualized treatment plans and document progress. As an SLP-A at Legacy Speech Services, you will: • Provide treatment and training services at assigned sites. • Work with a diverse population of children with various speech and language needs. • Target specific goals related to language development, articulation, fluency, social skills and more • Implement evidence-based interventions using various modalities and techniques. • Educate patients and caregivers on strategies to enhance function and participation. • Assist in administrative tasks such as record keeping, filing and preparing copies when necessary. To be successful in this role, you will need: • An associate’s degree or higher in speech-language pathology from an accredited program. • A current SLP-A license in good standing with the state board. • At least one year of experience working as an SLP-A in a pediatric setting (preferred). • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently or as part of a team. • Proficiency in using electronic medical records software. Occupational Therapist (OT)

Are you passionate about helping people improve their quality of life by increasing their functional independence? Do you enjoy creating individualized treatment plans based on your patient’s needs, family concerns, and life goals? If so, you might be the perfect fit for our team at Legacy Speech Services! We seek bilingual (English, Spanish) licensed Occupational Therapists (OTs) to join our growing practice. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with various conditions that affect their ability to perform daily activities. You will work closely with other interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and ensure optimal outcomes. As an OT at Legacy Speech Services, you will: • Conduct initial evaluations and administer appropriate assessments. • Develop intervention plans based on patient needs, parents’ concerns, and physician orders. • Implement evidence-based interventions using various modalities and techniques. • Educate patients and caregivers on strategies to enhance function and participation. • Recommend adaptive devices or equipment when needed. • Refer patients to additional medical services when appropriate. • Complete re-evaluations and discharge summaries on time. • Maintain client-patient confidentiality and documentation standards. To be successful in this role, you will need: • A master’s degree or higher in occupational therapy from an accredited program • A current OT license in good standing with the state board. • At least one year of experience working as an OT in a pediatric setting (preferred). • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently or as part of a team. • Proficiency in using electronic medical records software.
